Botanicalposters.com will be offering a selection of high quality frames in a variety of price ranges to frame
our botanical posters. We think you will find our prices to be quite competitive and in many cases
less expensive than other sources, even with the added costs of shipping. 
Of course for most of you there's no added tax, an additional savings.

Many of our poster designs have a border allowing you to frame without  a mat 
if you want to keep the framed size smaller and a bit less expensive.  
The poster without look best with a mat and even better with double matting.

Posters are framed with a high quality protective backing, and 
high quality clear lucite.  Visually there is absolutely no difference between
this quality plastic and glass.  Aside from the added weight of glass which 
adds to your shipping costs poster size frames are considerably heavier.
Lucite is being used more and more for fine art pieces because 
it will not shatter like glass which can damage the artwork.   Even with careful packing
there is the risk of damage in shipping, especially when UPS plays "toss the box".

All of our frames that look like wood are real wood--we don't use composite materials unless we specify
