Vision

The experience of  nature in all of its numerous facets and expressions is one of the most simple, wonderful, and enjoyable experiences we can have. Our connection with nature is a connection to the sacred, the divine. The sanctuary of nature is a place of amazing beauty. When at peace in nature we become at peace with our selves and the world.

It is from this place of appreciation and love of nature that Margo is inspired through art to bring in to our homes her own expression of the natural world,  intersecting with many useful plants adopted and changed through human interaction. Thus you will find illustrations of plants that people have used through the centuries for healing and flavor, brought in to their gardens or collected from the wild. There are useful plants and beautiful plants, plants we rely upon for sustenance, leisure, and health.

Margo’s objective in her artwork is to make beautiful, rich and playful images that work well together, portray useful and interesting plants, provide beautiful decorative images for the home,  serve to educate and elevate our appreciation and knowledge of the natural world.

Making botanical prints has been a life long passion for Margo, although she stopped producing her artwork on a commercial basis for many years.  Never having left the context of herbs, plants and nature Margo was reinspired to create new work and bring botanicalposters.com in to fruition.
